CRAFT BEER, GREAT food and a stellar musical line-up – there's a lot to love about the London Craft Beer Festival, which is back for its fifth year on 4, 5 and 6 August at the Shoreditch Electric Light Station.
Founders Dan Sylvester and Greg Wells have hand-picked 45 top-notch breweries from around the world to showcase their best brews at the event, including Mikkeller from Copenhagen, Dugges from Gothenburg and Maniba from Brazil.
Meanwhile, from across the pond, Other Half will make their inaugural trip from Brooklyn to London with their small-batch fruity brews. Others flying the flag for the US include Modern Times from San Diego, Stillwater Artisanal, Sierra Nevada, Brooklyn Brewery and Oskar Blues.
Our homegrown beer talent is, of course, not forgotten, with the likes of Cloudwater, Magic Rock and Buxton Brewery all in attendance, as well as London-based favourites The Kernel, Brew by Numbers, Beavertown and Pressure Drop.
Some of London's top restaurants will be there, too, including Berber & Q, Morito, Gunpowder and Radio Alice, and each will be paired with a brewery, so visitors can explore how well modern beer works with food.
The musical line-up more than matches the food and drinks one, with DJ sets from Hot Chip, Foals, and Norman Jay MBE providing a killer soundtrack.
