Holiday cottage company Under the Thatch are giving away a weekend stay for six people at Bwthyn Trehilyn – a stunning Georgian mill house, meticulously restored over 18 years by Griff Rhys Jones.

Bwthyn is in 75 acres of the Strumble Head coastline between St Davids and Fishguard. The impeccable restoration was the subject of the BBC TV series A Pembrokeshire Farm and has been named ‘Best in Wales’ by CN Traveller and was in the Top 30 UK Self-Catering Stays by The Times.

Inside you’ll find three great bedrooms, two bathrooms and a cosy fire. Outside, there are acres for private walks as well as play swings for kids and two EV electric car chargers. Walk over to Strumble Head Lighthouse to watch dolphins and whales, or to the gorgeous Abermawr beach, just three miles away. Pets are welcome and will love being by the sea.

The prize is a three-night weekend stay (arrive Friday, depart Monday) or a four-night mid-week stay (arrive Monday, depart Friday) for any available break completed by 7 July 2025, excluding the period 14 to 25 April. Up to six guests may stay and pets are welcome, with the usual pet surcharge applied.
