I understand the convenience of these ready meals, but I'd still rather cook bigger portions of these meals to eat for 2-3 days than buy a small portion for the same £6...

mldy96 some people don’t have the time to cook. So this is better for working/Busy people

Well, I'd personally argue that a slow cooker or pressure cooker with a timer would be a better option still value and amount of food wise.

I usually start classes at 9AM and often make use of the labs almost until building closure as we have tons of projects to work on (and a portfolio to build!), so I have warm dinner made in my slow cooker(s) while away and I prepare a quick, big wok stir fry every other morning for the next 2-3 days for lunch.

Bulk cooking on the weekends is also an option - you spend half a day cooking for sure (or way less if you split work with someone), and you do need freezer space to cover the entire week, but then all you need to do is pop in the food in the microwave during those busy weekdays.

No hate for anyone who buys these packs instead, I just really don't see these worth the advertised ~£14...

As someone who cooks in bulk on the weekends, I totally agree. I buy discounted veg and meat over the week then cook for 2-3 hours to make 5-7 portions (sometimes even more if I bought too much food) all gets shoved in the freezer, doing that every week or two (depending on the amount I made and need for it) costs me pennies, counting per portion (solid 500-600ml box full of veg, meat and carbs) so far cost me between 43p and 68p per portion... And I was thinking then it was a lot!

They do sign you up for a subscription. Over £30 for the next box. I hopefully have cancelled it.
