I've been using Chip for a while and had the same query but I found this from the Co- Founder on Reddit and confirmed this is correct. They never sell financial data and spending statistics

This looks like a great offer, going to have a proper look at it. I do think you need to go back and speak to chip though as they haven't given you the exclusive offer they promised you
. There are at least 2 other money bloggers that I saw (one posted it 10 hours ago) same deal £10 when you signed up, just their referral codes instead. I think if they promise "exclusivity " they should provide said exclusivity and not offer it to everyone.

I have now received my free £10, keeps a bit longer than a your own withdrawal but you get it a couple of days later
