Wow that’s an excellent price that is for all them freebies and coupons too!! Their eye centre is brilliant and the food and meats are absolutely amazing I can’t fault the meats at all and at the moment they’ve got tomahawk steaks ready for bbq weather that’s on way soon
What a pity they have those employment restrictions on the kind of people they'll accept for membership. I guess someone doing volunteer work as a carer for elderly people wouldn't qualify as they'd probably be deemed not likely to have income to spend enough money at Costco.
ChrisInMakati ring your nearest branch and speak to them, I used to work in a private library and they were happy for me to join just had to show i did work in a library. Being a carer might come under health care you may need some evidence you do volunteer their

The normal price for 12 months individual membership (including spouse card) is £33.60 so there is no saving here unless the freebies and coupons are of interest.
Yes you are absolutely right. The complimentary spouse membership is included in the standard individual membership anyway. Then, most of those items on the coupons, you can get them cheaper in other supermarkets. So really you just get the free chicken and free velvet cake. I find it a bit underwhelming now to be honest...

My son had to get his grandad to join first as he works as an electrical engineer and that was not on the list but as his grandad worked for DHL he had no problem in getting a membership but after the year my son renewed by him self and got a extra card for me and his friend

Membership okay, but to pay for it I don't think that's good.
It's true you can get most items cheaper elsewhere. I used to be a member then stopped. Most items are either in big sizes or packs. Since cancelling my membership, I've not missed it, and saving £33 a year.
Decent find, OP. Thanks for posting. I don't have a Costco within 70 miles of me, so I will give it a miss. But I appreciate it's a great deal for those with a Costco nearby.
