I think you are probably referring to Simply Duracell batteries, which are not the same / inferior to Duracell Plus
Johnny no exactly the same u can get these and basic ones I bought some few weeks ago for £4.99 x x
I have now looked at both websites - HomeBargains and BMStores.
Neither HomeBargains nor BMStores list Duracell Plus as being in stock. But both stock Simply Duracell.
If you can still find any Duracell Plus in either store at £4.99 for 12 please add a photo.
The difference is that Simply Duracell are best used for low to moderate drain devices (radios, remotes, clocks), whilst Duracell Plus have up to 50% more power and are better for high drain devices like toys.
To back up comments that items are cheaper elsewhere, it's helpful if
a) they're actually still in stock
b) you validate what you've found by adding a link, or
c) you validate what you've found by adding a photo of the item on the shelf, showing the lower price
Otherwise it's a bit of wild goose chase, and may stop people from getting the posted deals whilst on offer!
Johnny I know the difference hence why I grabbed them as not seen them in there before as u say it’s usually the simply ones which are not as good, I wonder if it was a mistake on their side, sometimes they get stuff in and u never see again, if I see them when I go back I’ll be definitely buying more and yes will put up a pic
