16 AA / AAA Batteries for £1 (in-store)
Poundland are selling 16 X AA / AAA batteries for just, yup, you guessed it, £1.
I found these in-store today. Kodak brand so probably not the best, but seeing as though Duracell / Energizer are £5 for 16, you could get 80 for the same price.
This should stop the kids wailing this Christmas when the batteries run out!
If you're looking for longer-lasting batteries Johnny tends to publish good deals quite often.
That is a good deal although, I've found the store-brand Wilko batteries (orange ones) to last longer and be more reliable than branded ones that £1 shops sell.
But at the same time, Wilko batteries' sells 8 for 95p and Poundland Kodak's 16 batteries for £1.00. It's worth getting Kodak just because you get more for 5p more.
