How does GoGroopie work?
- You buy a voucher from GoGroopie. This is then emailed to you (check your spam!). Then, you go to a third-party retailer's website and apply the voucher code. This retailer then sends it to you.
This seems a good deal but groopie always charges a very huge postage I think. It seems a little on the high end. I paid 10 pounds the other day for a small item. So read carefully
Also, you will need 18650 batteries for them. They are not the easiest of batteries to come across.
Carobless I have about 40, just break down old laptop batteries ( from recycling boxes)
Latest Deals, please stop insulting the intelligence of people with these 'deals'. Either this is a community of deal hunters or it isn't. Whether it's this, that coffee machine subscription or most of the other 'Latest Deals has worked with' posts, it's immoral to make out that you are a website here to save people money and then post stuff like this.
One quick search on Google shows this doorbell, as always, is cheaper elsewhere: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293778316557.
Is Latest Deals a community of deal hunters or a big advertising platform for Amazon and GoGroupie?
Well, they do need to make money for sure. However, it is important for people to learn that when a deal is advertised the right thing to do is to search and research. I do always as I have realised there is always a place that sells it cheaper.
CatWild Bang on. I agree a business has to make money but this isn't the way to do it in my opinion. If people knew prices were often better elsewhere, I'd shut up. Based on comments under deal posts though (not just these - Amazon etc too), a lot of people take deals at face value and I feel compelled to stop them wasting money even if it's only a couple of quid
Not only do you see who's at your door , if you're not careful the whole WWW does as well !!
This is a really good deal for one of these, i have been looking for one at a decent price. Thanks for sharing this deal.
I got one wouldn't work on my virgin broadband + you have to order batteries from abroad my advice avoid , thoughtful to post but
We had one of these which we’ve never really been able to get working...it requires special batteries..which aren’t cheap..and it eats through them like no bodies business..we’ve tried to get it working on various platforms iOS/samsung phones etc and it’s never worked properly..
We also couldn’t get it to work with our virgin broadband as it doesn’t use 5g...only the lower 2.4
Sparklyguider thanks for taking the time to comment. I toy with these doorbell offers when they crop up and real life reviews are invaluable
I have been looking for one of these, and its a really good price. Thank you for posting this deal.
Don't think I will bother after reading the comments. Not a good deal if batteries are hard to find and expensive.
shabbirakhtar5 oh I trust your opinion so if you think its a good deal then please advise. Thanks
SAdeals Not sure you should reading the other comments. Including one saying you have to order the batteries from abroad
I were going to purchase this but after the comments I dont think I will bother, thanks for the heads up
These are worth a try if you want to tryout having a video Doorbell before deciding to pay out for a decent top brand ones. I've had a few of these types, they all do what they say but... Don't be surprised if they develop issues after a while. I've experienced the camera stop showing images but audio and motion still operational, intermittent false alerts and battery issues such as not holding charge or false charge readings in the app.
I had been looking at these on line last night as my friend has one but am sure she paid well over a hundred pounds. In Argos they are all different prices but I am going to get one at some point!
This seems like a good price for this. I will take a look and read some reviews. Thank you for sharing.
Would love this keep u safe this is great bargain will so my sister and show my friends ❤ ♥
