I remember seeing something like this on youtube and it turned out one of the heating elements was a halogen bulb. It might have been a conventional heating element at the top but two halogen bulbs at the bottom. Halogen bulbs do fail and may not be available as replacements in a few years. For the life of me I can't see what these are. I've looked through the advert and details but nowhere does it describe the heating elements fitted.

BonzoBanana reviews say heating elents are two wires at the bottom. But it doesn't turn on until cooled and gets rusted and very difficult to clean as per reviews

samoflondon Two wires does not sound the most impressive description of a heating element. It reminds me of fuse wire which ultimately will fail after enough hot/cold cycles. Actually sounds worse than halogen bulbs in a way. About a month or two back I passed a house that had a air fryer oven outside ready for collection. It didn't look that old and looked like it was expensive but clearly had failed out of guarantee I guess with no repair option available. I know the main circuit boards can often fail so it could be that rather than a heating element.
I had a halogen oven for a while but one day the glass bowl just cracked without warning and that was the end of that. I looked for a replacement but its was like 3/5 the price of a new oven and my oven was fairly well used and didn't seem worth paying that.

Yeah seen poor reviews for this on quite a few sites despite looking awesome I would be a bit sceptical to order this in case it didn't last longer than the guarantee
