This looks like a great idea, when you have several people who all want to charge their devices at once.
unfortunately it is limited by the power supplied by the device you plug it in to so it will not quickly charge apple devices for example as a laptop or pc will not give sufficient power to it to do that as it was not designed to do so, more suited to connecting multiple usb sticks to a laptop rather than charging devices
Always looking for a usb port so that is a useful option at a good price too.
These are great but unfortunately with newer devices they won’t support fast charge , but can’t go wrong for the price

I've used many in the past (before usb 3.0)
They're only good for plugging a mouse in or keyboard etc.
If you were only buying one for data transfers, charging etc, then I wouldn't bother, it only supports usb 2.0 so it's going to be incredibly slow!
Everything these days uses usb 3.0..
