Bowel Cancer kills 43 people in the UK every day.

Early detection is vital in battling bowel cancer which is the UK's second biggest cancer killer. Recent news coverage such as the stories from the BBC, Dailymail and Metro has highlighted the need for anyone suffering any of the below symptoms to get checked as early as possible.

Letsgetchecked offers convenient at home testing using the same labs as the NHS, with a 5 star Trustpilot rating.

Symptoms include

  • Blood in your stool
  • A change in bowel habits
  • Bleeding from the ****
  • Unexplained pain in your stomach
  • A lump in your abdomen
  • Reduced appetite or unexplained weight loss
  • Hemorrhoids and/or **** fissures
  • Dizziness, tiredness or breathlessness

They offer a wide range of tests for both men and women that you do in the comfort of your own home and send away in the post with the pre-paid envelope and the results will be available to view in your online account with 2 - 5 days depending on which test that you go for. When you order online, your test will be delivered the next working day.

What's even better is that a member of LetsGetChecked's clinical team will give you a call to discuss your results, and offer advice on lifestyle changes or treatment options.

LetsGetChecked also has a five star Trustpilot rating

Thyroid disorders affect an estimated 1 in 20 people, but around 60 percent of people don't know they have the condition, with women 5 to 10 times more likely to have the condition. Due to this, there has been a recent increase in people taking at home tests due to their convenience (results in 2-5 days), discreetness and accuracy (results processed from same labs as NHS testing).

If left untreated, it can put you more at risk to more serious conditions such as heart disease, infertility and even thyroid cancer.

The discount code brings the price down from £59 to just £35.40 for this test

Have used this before a couple of times and is a very good service compared with how long things take on NHS, some tests are quite pricey but this is a really big discount, wish I'd had it before.

These are very expensive and most test can be done for free on the nhs but I realise not everyone likes to visit their doctor

Not every one would meet the nhs criteria to get test for free

40% off? Sorry but to me, any test for cancer should be free. And those who do charge should be ashamed of themselves.

Great to make people aware; I would first ask for the necessary testing via the NHS and use these as a back up option. Thank you for sharing!

I lost 2 parents to bowel cancer within a short space of time. 20 odd quid for a test & a poss quick diagnosis is nothing. Early detection is key to surviving.

Please, I can't recommend all of you enough to do all the screening tests that the NHS offers you. Early detection is a prime factor to reduce mortality from cancer. I was studying Therapeutic Radiography and I have seen so many cases of advance stage cancer during my placement at hospital. Follow the recommendations of your GP and please, follow all the available screening programs

TBH if you are at all worried see your GP (or Pharmacist). Yes I know you have to wait a week for an appointment but it will be quicker than these tests and it is / will be free. If you buy these and you have a +ve result, guess what? You will be told to see your GP!

50 to be tested in Scotland for bowel cancer screening. I had bowel cancer, when I was 29, now 53, thanks to early treatment. This type of test was not around at the time. However, hearing of more young people being diagnosed with bowel cancer, I think these tests are great for anyone who is worried due to history of bowel cancer in family.. No price tag for your life..

You can get these for £3.40 on ebay though I'm not sure how accurate or official they are!

These are tested in NHS labs though - I wouldn't trust a ebay test. Have used before myself - very easy to do and good service!

I had routine screening just after I was 55 and was told I would get the home sample test pack when I was 60. I was 60 last month, the test kit arrived 5 days after my birthday, I didn’t do it straight away, posted it and had the letter confirming everything was ok one week later. I think that is great service and I will now get the home test every two years.
