Thanks for sharing this with us. I bought one of these recently but haven't had a chance to try it yet.
Not wishing to rain on anyone's parade, but a friendly sharing of info. We have had two or three different hoses of this sort, where they expand. They all end up with the inside hose tube spliting and us getting soaked as the water sprays out of the leaking hole. Neighbours also had the same problems with theirs. They also seem to take forever for the water to drain out after turning the tap off, so lots of wasted water. We have now reverted back to a traditional hose. Obviously up to you all, but just thought I'd share in case it helps anyone. I wouldn't bother with or recommend this type of hose to anyone.
