miaclare19 whilst I'm sure posted with the best of intentions please see my comments below. The original RRP isn't relevant as it's a 4 year old device that's not great spec, and due to its age will only receive security updates for 2 years 
The C523 only has updates until June 2024... Not sure if the C523NA is slightly different, but it's not listed as such. If it's only secure for the next 2 years then unfortunately it's quite an expensive price?
SkyUK I heard Google will now let us update browser independent of the chrome book. But still a work of progress . Neverwere

samoflondon yeah that's really useful if you've already got one and confident switching operating system etc, but if you're gonna do that you could get much better spec for £229? Appreciate the link all the same
Just found it was released October 2018. Amazon trying to get rid of old stock with limited lifespan it seems. I'd avoid for that price
