The standard price for these seeds is around £1.45 a pack in the shops, but these giant 6ft+ ones always seem to be out of stock when I look!

Huge heads on giant stems Easy, fast growing with huge heads on giant stems. A favourite with children - who can grow the tallest? Height: 180cm/72in Plant Class: Hardy Annual (HA). Habit: Tall, Upright.
Sow outdoors, March-May, where they are to flower, 1.5cm (½") deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Sow two seeds together every 45cm (18"). Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Remove the weaker plant, which can be transplanted if desired. Water well until young plants are established. Or sow indoors, March-May, 1.5cm (½") deep, individually in small pots of compost. Water well and place in a cold frame or greenhouse. Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out, May-June, 45cm (18") apart. Flowers: June to September.
