I got this a while back, the beers were average at best, similar league to Lidl/Aldi’s own beers. Which considering they’re free isn’t such a bad thing.
Cancelling your subscription however is another matter. You can’t cancel it online, you have to call them (0131 number btw), they’re only open from Mon - Fri, 9 until 5. I was waiting for about 30 minutes before someone picked up, and a further 15 minutes to cancel my subscription after being led through multiple hoops.
It’s a deliberate choice to omit the online cancellation from their site, especially when there are other account controls like pause subscription for 1 month etc. All in all it feels a bit scammy.

So tempted to join this club. I love real ale, but know I’d end up spending too much on it

I think this is a good offer, though kike many of these, you need to know what you're signing up for.

Remember to cancel your subscription if you don't want to continue with the subscription. Thanks for sharing

They keep spamming you with unwanted calls even after you left . Even cancellation is not easy

Oooh will have a a look into these might be worth a try thanks for sharing this with us all!

Absolutely a nightmare to deal with If you want to cancel. Took me about 4 calls and over 10 emails to finally have it confirmed it is cancelled. They may say on the phone or email it's cancelled but they you check to confirm and it's not cancelled at all. Just paused. Avoid like the plague. Their beers are awful to boot.

Avoid at any cost. This company deserves a bad review (in my opinion) for making it so hard for everyone to cancel their subscription.
