Action Camera with Gyro Stabilisation (Sony Image sensor/NK96660 Chipset)

I previously shared this deal but now the seller has done a new listing for it on ebay.

As before you are getting a mid-range Action camera that cost about £70 or more in 2016/2017 for £20. It's old stock but a great specification for £20.

Based on a Novatek NK96660 chipset which is a step up from the very basic Allwinner V3's and toy camera chipsets some cheap action cameras use.

This does have gyro stabilised true 1080p 60fps capability. Please note ensure the stabilised icon in on the video recording screen when using. If you enable some features that require extra processing the stabilised icon will disappear meaning no stabilisation.

Like many action cameras, they come out of a Chinese factory and are then sold by different importers under different names or slightly different cases. The ODRVM action camera is the same and the SJ8000 is based on the same internals etc. Look for 4k 24fps action camera reviews with the NK96660 chipset, Sony sensor and gyro stabilisation.

Note like many lower end action cameras the 4k mode is fake. It's upscaled so pointless to use. It drains the battery faster, wastes space on the memory card and achieves nothing. Use the 2k mode or preferably the much better 1080p 60fps mode.
