I got a shark at christmas. Just sent it back! One of my kids sock got stuck up the hose and because of the bend round the handle there was no way it was coming out without a fight and it won!! I had to buy a new hose £25 then the roller stopped turning and lights stopped... rubbish expirience. I found a shark forum that said same... 1 sock and its ruined.. wasnt gonna live my life in fear of a sock up the hoover again 
my new vax sucked up a dry dish cloth yesterday... came straight out 
This is a fantastic hoover but this is kind of a standard price because this is what I paid with Argos but still a good price

I need a new vaccumn cleaner as my Dyson has seen better days and thinking about a shark now. My dilemma is I would like a cordless as so easy to use and carry around but get frustrated when battery runs out as my old Dyson only has 20min battery time or hubby forgot to charge it. Not sure if I should get one of these instead.

Having bought a dyson cordless 2 years back and being so disappointed with it I bought a shark last year ! Night and day I can tell you - I have bought a dozen hoovers or more over the last 40 years and the shark is top dollar it’s amazing
