Amazon Free £6 Credit (When You Buy £30 Gift Cards)

If you've got an Amazon* account, you may be able to get a 'free' £6 promo code when you buy £30 of Amazon gift cards until 11.59pm on Fri 30 Nov.

As physical and digital gift cards are good for 10 years, and valid on most of the items Amazon sells, this is effectively £6 free credit as long as you'll spend £30 at Amazon anytime in the next 10 years. Note though, that you'll need to use the £6 credit by 15 Jan 2019.

How do I know if I'm eligible?

It only takes a minute to check if you're eligible (see how below), but you won't be able to get it if you've purchased any gift cards from Amazon in the past three years.

It's only for existing account holders, so you can't set up a new one just to get this deal.

Here's what to do:

1. Log in and visit this Amazon link*.

2. Find out if you're eligible by clicking the 'Click to register for the promotion' button. If you're eligible, it will say 'You have successfully registered for the promotion'. If you're not, there will be a message saying 'Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this offer'.

3. Buy £30 of Amazon gift cards in a single purchase. Amazon says the £6 promo code will be automatically applied to your account and it'll confirm this via email within two days after the gift cards have been dispatched. Amazon gift cards come with free one-day delivery if you want a physical card, but it's worth noting that if you opt to schedule your gift card delivery for a specific date, it needs to be before Fri 30 Nov.

The £6 code can only be used on items dispatched and sold by Amazon, not third-party sellers – this will be clearly marked on screen.
