Have been shopping at Anthro for years in store but the first time I purchase online and the experience was very poor.
Bought a set of 4 glasses online but only 1 glass was sent to me.
When I emailed to ask where the others were they asked if I would like a refund or the glasses sent to me, of course I asked for them to be sent to me but then I get another email shortly after to state I had selected the ‘quantity’ as 1 so therefore only received 1 DESPITE the description being ‘Set of 4...’ which I clarified with screenshots of my confirmation order and the description from the website. I then didn’t hear back from them again.
I eventually called customer services and spoke to ‘Symone’ - massive pet peeve of mine but she had an extremely disinterested tone, lots of monotone speak, huffing, not saying anything after I spoke/asked questions so had to say ‘HELLO?’ a lot.
She put me on hold and when she came back she told me the items were now out of stock and that she had refunded me. Didn’t ask if I wanted a replacement before refunding next, nor offered me any kind of good will gesture as an apology for the fact I’d now missed out on some glasses I wanted. In fact not even an apology full stop! I suggested it might be an idea for an alternative but similar item to be sent to me instead however because the next most similar items were more expensive she said she couldn’t send them without me paying more, she also didn’t even offer a discount on those to soften the blow. I asked if she could speak to a manger instead to get something authorised and instead she hung up.
I am really disappointed, their stuff is very expensive and I am happy to pay that extra however I expect an appropriate level of service to go alongside that. I will not be shopping with Anthropologie in the future on principle.
Guilhermina Embellished Slides. I bought in black. bought for a wedding so wanted comfort as being in them all day, these are beautiful fit lovely and comfortable wide fit so fit me perfectly. Expensive but have many weddings to go to next year. Delivery was quick. Didn't need customer service the shoes were exactly as described. Definitely buy from these again for special occasions.
Prices were amazing and couldn’t fault the speed of the delivery one of items was damaged so an exchange was sorted promptly and efficiently
