The Nike+ version of the Apple Watch has the same great features as the normal watch, but is more focussed on running.

The Nike+ Run Club app is pre-installed which turns the Apple Watch into motivational running partner. Along with tracking all the important info about your run and your performance it connects you to other users for motivation, new routes around towns and cities, and tips on how to improve.

It even asks ‘Are you running today?', and gives a summary of what your friends are up to, the weather, and other important information to tempt you outside.

Built-in GPS

The Apple Watch now comes with integrated GPS that works independently from your iPhone. You can track a run, follow map directions, and monitor your health without needing to be in range of your phone.

The new Viewranger hiking app uses GPS to plan routes, check progress, and view upcoming terrain wherever you are. It'll even give you a notification if you're straying too far from the planned route to stop you getting lost.
