Will ASDA be taking part in Black Friday? Last year, the supermarket did not officially take part but did have other deals and discounts available.
It is likely that there will be ASDA George offers available online, similar to its mid-season sales. Be sure to know the ASDA clothing sale dates so that you can buy items at discounted prices.

ASDA already has The Big Toy RollBack sale, where you can get toys such as Peppa Pig, Furbie, Nerf Guns and Star Wars up to 50% off. They also have home and garden sales, such as kettles and toasters 2 for £40, 20% off winter warmers, and knickers 3 for £7.
Why did ASDA decide not to do Black Friday deals?
The supermarket decided a few years ago not to be part of the official Black Friday event. I was told by a spokesperson that they instead want to offer great "everyday value".
With many retailers actually increasing prices before Black Friday only to slash them again on the day, this actually makes a refreshing change. It also gets lots of media outlets to talk about them as the supermarket doing something different and bucking the trend.
However, speculation is increasing that the supermarket will change tact and do Black Friday in 2023.
What deals should I look out for at ASDA?
ASDA currently has and will have throughout November 2023 sales and offers across home and garden, women's clothes, men's clothes, kids, toys and baby. You can save a lot of money here, and should check out the Life & Style section for inspiration such as for maternity wear and next season fashion. The company is also having an ASDA boxing day sale that you might be interested in.
Does ASDA do online delivery for Black Friday?
Yes. ASDA (via its brand George) does home delivery as well as free click & collect.

ASDA George offers free click and collect. But before you place your order, double check by entering your postcode that click and collect is available at your store. Standard delivery costs £3.50.
