Bought principally to quickly add enough charge to my Iphone 8+ when a regular charge isn't possible. It lives in my work bag and 17mins on the train this morning was enough to boost the battery from 22% to 55% whilst asleep but listening to Spotify via bluetooth headphones. It also charges a 12.9 iPad Pro faster than the regular 12w iPad charger Apple supplied. No scientific test, but against whilst the iPad was asleep it charged from 15% to full in just over an hour (could've been shorter, but it was full when I went back to it)
You'll need the Apple USB C to lightning though. I was loaned a generic cable before the Apple cable was delivered and it didn't charge any faster than the 12w iPad charger + Anker lightning.
Size wise it's low profile shape makes it easier to carry around unobtrusively in a bag.
Not cheap, but then again neither was the device you're charging - the convenience is well worth it.
