Well obviously you do stock up on things you normally buy Dennab plus impulse buys, pressies etc, I do a big order each time and I save so much I don't actually notice the delivery charge, I mean, surely nobody would buy just the 'deal' item would they, that would be a bit silly!!!
JoTarpley That would indeed be very silly. It's like many websites though. Do we 'need' the other items and does the price of them justify the £4.95 postage cost just to save two quid on a box of Allsorts? Is it classic retail tactics to have a few cheap items to lure people in? Yes. Did I spend over £20 in Tesco earlier after going in for a free pumpkin and now eating my own words? Yes.
JoTarpley More importantly, it's just information for people who may find it useful. I searched this site today because I was looking to buy liquorice. Your deal came up, I noticed it wasn't particularly good, provided some feedback on that plus app functionality and that's it really Jo.
JoTarpley This always starts with me commenting with some perfectly reasonable criticism of a deal and you make it unpleasant every time. You are the snide one. Learn to accept criticism because that's all it is! There's nothing snide about it. Telling me to go and play somewhere else and I've "bored you" - that's snide. Try looking back to see if I've said anything remotely personal like that. No, because I'm not dropping to that level and never will with people like yourself Jo. I also will not be bullied into not providing criticism of a deal because somebody takes it way too personally. Grow up.
Just to remind you Jo...
My original comment: "That is a good price compared to Amazon but Poundshop has a £30 minimum spend and £4.95 delivery. When are we going to make delivery costs etc a rule on posts?" - reasonable criticism
You then got all defensive, as always instead of just accepting my opinion and moving on. It's a deal. I didn't call you any names, I didn't say anything personal. It's just a deal site Jo, just deals with opinions. You seem to take it way to personally so my suggestion is - mute me. Sorted
Dennab Ah but it's not just me is it, you've left quite a few comments around LDs, I know because I've seen them!
What you are failing to see, is sometimes I post a smaller deal, like yesterday, I posted some Santa footprints for Christmas morning and a small colour changing tree, they were only small deals so I classed them as 1 deal and I posted 2 more, same as the 'Allsorts deal' I posted 4 deals that day too, that way I feel I can justify posting a cheap deal!
JoTarpley I thought you weren't going to reply anymore? What you are failing to see is nothing I am saying to you or anybody else is supposed to be personal. For the last time, it's just criticism. To be honest, I just commented on a deal I felt needed feedback Jo. Is my feedback genuinely upsetting you? Are you considering how it feels for someone else when you say things like "you've bored me"? Life's to short for this ****.
Dennab Yes I know it's 'just criticism' but you do seem to do it quite a lot, why, some deals I find a bit pathetic, like save 3p on something, I have a mutter to myself and move on, I don't want to say to people 'you've posted a crap deal' because I'm not like that, I've only ever said something once and that was the 'save 3p' deal, it was a 'chilled' item that couldn't be frozen and I challenged the poster that in my opinion, saving 3p on this item was not a very good deal, she told me that I had it wrong, and that it was, in fact, a very good deal, especially if I bought it in bulk as the 3p's would add up!!
