Ends Soon! Beat The Increase Renew Amazon Prime For £79 Instead Of £95
Last chance! Beat the Amazon Prime price increase from 15th September.
Amazon Prime subscription will be having its first price increase since 2014 on September 15th.
Currently, it is £79 per year or £7.99 per month and it will be rising to £95 per year or £8.99 per month and Student Prime membership with rise from £39 a year to £47.49 or £3.99 per month to £4.49 per month.
If you renew now, you can get a whole year at the current prices. To make the most of it, you can renew the day before the increase which is 14th of September. Very beneficial if you pay monthly and can convert to pay yearly or you are due to renew yearly from mid September to mid October. Cancel as close to 14th as September as you can then renew and lock in the old prices.
Renew at the current price and beat the hike. Keep reading to see how to renew your Amazon Prime early.

Thanks emmabeckz I've paid up for the year but I'll cancel and pay up for the year again thanks for a great idea
If you renew and pay monthly will you still stay at the current price for a year or is it only if you opt for the annual payment?
VaishaliArora we have Prime and use it all the time. It’s our go to website for almost everything. We had over 600 orders between us last year according to the stats on the site.
We live rurally, 20+ miles to get to larger stores so it has been a game changer for us.
pwclayton I find many times items are much cheaper from UK sellers on eBay . Amazon full of dodgy Chinese sellers pretending to be in UK .
samoflondon I’m careful to pick the listings that aren’t Chinese- you can tell by the wording. I find Amazon Customer Services excellent- the same cannot be said for eBay
pwclayton It is not only eBay customer services. it is Paypal which has helped me so many times . Even outside of EBay using purchases made using PayPal . Amazon UK customer service even deleted my negative feedback to help their Chinese Fraud sellers . Amazon delivery service is very good, no doubt about that but their FBA service is full of fly by night get quick rich Chinese Fraudsters .

reviews-help@amazon.co.uk only help Fraudsters . Amazon UK full oo much fake positive feedback but don't want any real negative feedback for Fraud Chinese sellers on Amazon . I have tried to contact this email address to understand but they don't even bother responding.
lofthouseclaire you get more for your money definitely but don't let Amazon know because they will keep putting their prices up
If you are planning to cancel, you should read this:
A. Full refund only if you haven't used any benefit at all.
B. Partial if you have only used Amazon Prime Delivery.
C. No refund at all if you have also used other benefits like Prime video.
emmabeckz thanks, My membership renewed of 01st July. Is there anything I can do? If I cancel will they refund me pro-rata?
ParasKhona Try and go on live chat see what they can do for you but you will still get until 1st July 2023 at the same price its worse for people who are due to renew in September onwards so you are doing quite well and maybe they will do a deal for the next Prime day
I would lose several months of my annual subscription, sadly it doesn’t give me a saving. By cancelling your subscription, do you lose your paid videos?
Maybe not a good idea to rush into cancellation and repurchase -After all you have until September .
Read a couple of comments that when cancelling Prime you lose saved stuff for good which does not move to your new account .
I would advise not to go off "half cocked" and cancel/repurchase as you may lose more than you gain . Wait till the Money Saving and Deals sites have had a proper look at it and issue their advice - You have nearly 2 months ! Plenty of time for those in the know to issue their advice .
Might be an idea to remove or retitle this post ?
Golfforall we do state in the post to wait until the 14th of September (The day before) to get the best value and have highlighted that you may only get a partial refund and to weigh it up based on what your circumstances are. Thank you
emmabeckz "Beat the increase Cancel/Sign up " etc etc - Think I did say maybe retitle ? You know as well as I do how few members actually read the full deal post ? Or even any of the comments (including mine ) .
Thanks for sharing will be using the free trial instead if they offer it. Thanks for sharing
But it's always £79 how cokes its a deal? Or who is paying £95 for prime I never did pay that much.
WindowShopper Please read the description. From September 15th Prime is going up from £79 a year to £95 so renew it now or on 14th September to get the £79 rate for the next year and beat the price increase thanks
WindowShopper I pay £95.88 as its 7.99 a month so for full year its £95.88 and I don't get why they still charge for some movies yet you have to pay even though you pay for prime its so annoying
Sadly didn't work for me. My renewal is due in Oct. I was not able to cancel and then renew at £79.
JanGreenslade Try cancelling on 14 September, one day before price change, mine is also due to renew in October.
JanGreenslade nor me, my renewal is September 21st so even tho i have cancelled, it wont take affect until then, therefore unable to renew at current price.
I just did it and they have charged me £95 as of the 5th of September! Apparently! Today

It allows to save £16 per year which is always something;) But it would be better if the discount was bigger for eg. half price, then many people would take advantage of it and use this deal;)
I have an Amazon Prime account and find it helpful on saving me on different products throughout the year. Thank you for sharing this renew increase I will make sure I will beat the increase.
Can have several one month free trials of Amazon prime on different accounts . Otherwise free click and collect and free delivery over £20 .
