Blue Dragon coconut milk is terrible.

For peeps who are using it to make Thai curry and cooking with it the most important thing to look at is the percent of coconut - 25% is the lowest of any on the Market.

Full Moon coconut milk sold in B&M is only 50P and has twice as much as this!

The best you could buy used to be the Home Bargains one in the purple tin at 89% coconut pulp but they stopped selling it sadly.

All the Thai restaurants use Chaokoh available in Tesco!

That's a good point, thanks. 25% coconut extract is as low as you'd expect, but it's a cheap option for cooking 🤔

1hpfanatik Indeed that reminds me I have to visit the Chinese supermarket on Saturday - cant make a proper Thai Curry without fresh galangal, kaffir limes leaves and all the other lovely ingredients - I could spend all day in See-Woo lol

The Blue Dragon stuff is only a measly 25% coconut extract - very poor hardly taste the coconut! Glad you didnt take offence at me dissing your deal haha

If this was over on hotukdeals we would have a major fight going on - this site is very pleasant to use - the other one is so full of knowitalls and men being men lol

Just picked up an Asda Coconut milk today 76% coconut for special price at the mo £0.79! Its the highest percentage coconut milk of any in stock - even Aroy-d and Chaokoh only have 50% - Nice one Asda - Must add this as one of my deals tonight!

Lydskyd Oh, not even close to take offence on this. I'm actually glad you made a good point.

Looks like you enjoy your cooking 😊 👍 I love curry as well, but only if it's not too spicy 😇

hpfanatik Spicy the better - its very good for you actually fights off the cold and boosts your immune system eating lots of spicy chillis!

Not so good for the bottom though - Now I understand the bean-scene in Blazing Saddles and the name of the movie haha - > stinger!

Ya big woos lol

Lydskyd yeah, I know it's somehow healthy and all that, but I just can't have it at all: if I eat something spicy, I'll get the hiccups in the next second 😆 it's weird + plus I just hate it - too spicy kills all the other flavours.
