If anyone, like myself, was wondering if this is an official Amazon device, it is and it isn't.
The speaker is not made by Amazon but it is connected to Alexa Voice Service. A little while ago Amazon opened Alexa so that other brands of speakers could use it. In theory, you should be able to talk to this speaker in just the same way.
Does it require subscription to amazon unlimited or prime to enjoy the Alexa services? That’s the only catch that puts me off buying Amazon Echo range
