B&Q 288 Stores Open + Updated Opening Hours
** Update 3/5 - now 288 Stores Open. Ireland & Guernsey Closed - 288 out of 297 store UK wide now open
If you have been trying to get on B&Q for some essential bits during lockdown and found the queues to even get on the site frustrating I have some great news for you.
B&Q are now re-opening 288 stores to the public whilst adhering to social distancing rules. These stores will now STOP offering click and collect for the time being and just be open as a shop. All those below are open now.
There are plans for two metre floor markers throughout stores to help people keep their distance and perspex screens at the checkouts.
You will have to queue to get in as they are limiting the amount of people allowed in store at any one time.
Tehy have installed sanitiser stations for trolleys, and stores will only been accepting card and contactless payments.
They are allowing two people per trolley so they can get larger items with no staff help.
These sections will NOT be open -
- Kitchen and bathroom design
- Paint mixing
- Timber cutting
- Key cutting
Opening hours will be 8am - 5pm

Been waiting in the queue since Thursday 5he virtual queens and I still have 22mins to wait and this is Monday
none near me yet. I'll be there. They sale plants. I'm ready to adopt some new plants. Thanks for letting us know about these. I didn't know any were open and I'm not joining the queue to get into their website.
Got a voucher today for a free tin of paint, and needing some garden items too, so hopefully it won't be too long until more can safely open, although I've a feeling the queues might be as long as those on the website.

Just what we didnt need, this will end up awful with more idiots out and spreading the virus, just shows where the government priorities are. This will be a big mistake you watch!
