Beautiful new Rose name after the Late Captain Sir Tom Moore.

They’ve teamed up with Sir Toms daughter and the Captain Tom foundation. £2.50 from every rose goes sale goes to the foundation.

From the renowned Harkness Roses Breeding programme, the ‘Captain Tom Rose’ is a fabulous ‘Hybrid Tea’ variety, producing masses of perfectly formed, gorgeously scented, double flowered red roses from May to October each year. Perfect for planting in pots, as well as beds and borders it is totally winter hardy and will grow 3ft high and 2ft wide; it is the ideal addition to your garden but also makes a thoughtful gift for any occasion. What is more, for every rose sold, £2.50 is donated to The Captain Tom Foundation - Charity number 1189808.

It's You Garden so P&P is £6.99 , so price is actually £21.98 - Posters should make this clear .

I would l also like it made clear by the sellers of things like this how much profit they're still making after the £2.50 donation to charity. Incidentally they're under £20 with delivery to prime members on Amazon (with the same £2.50 donation) and a small extra purchase can still get non-prime members free delivery. (I think we all know that Amazon don't "do owt for nowt")😀

davidstockport Yes " You Garden " are also on Amazon , often cheaper on there . They are also the gardening section on "Mail Shop " on the Daily Mail website . So when the Daily Mail offer seemingly bargains they too are subject to the £6.99 P&P .

Just a bit of useful information for LD members , but how many even read the description let alone the comments !
