I think £6k to have a Skoda sit on your drive for 3-years is not such a great deal

155 per month would pay for the taxis you would use. 5000 miles per year is only 100 miles a week. Leave this car on the forecourt
it's just 13 miles per day! Seriously? How much the black cab or, better, a minicab, nowadays? ...and you don't need insurance ;)
A car you never own... Not for me. Secondhand ftw in my book but it's not for everyone. I maintain my own cars. My 19 year old Volvo runs on LPG though that costs about 65p a litre. The mileage on this deal is indeed way too low. For a car doing that kind of mileage, you could buy something secondhand for even £1500 and with the odd bit of maintenance, it would work out a lot cheaper than this. Get a good and local mechanic, sorted. Safety standards may be better than some older vehicles but if you just want stuff like Bluetooth, I installed that in all my cars for under 50 quid each. The only reason for leasing really is to keep up with The Joneses in my opinion.
if you just fancy going around the doors this is a great little offer but for more distance you want more mileage

I bought a 5 door 2006 Nissan Micra SE in 2019 I've had a little work done on it this year (£150). The road tax is about the same. Paid £300.
There's a new car out every few months (Toyota, Honda, Skoda etc) and I've got to admit I'm tempted every time. But just as I resist other temptations.. I resist the need to look good in front of others because I have had enough of faking it just to fit in.
I need 10000miles and the price shoots up as soon as you want more mileage. Good for people who only do local travel
Seems an interesting deal but even though I am retired, 5,000 miles per annum maybe a bit tight. Would be better with 6,000 miles per annum and hopefully returning it with less than 18k miles. I have done approx 14k miles in my BMW X1 over the last 3 years. Also out of preference, I would like the auto version.
I dont suppose you get to keep the car at the end of the deal do you? That would have been good.
