The Christmas Workshop brand presents this fun battery operated plastic train set designed to go around your Christmas Tree but can also be used as a toy train set too. The set comes complete with a 330cm 10 piece oval track that is simple to link together, a train which is the unit that is powered (requires 2 x AA batteries (not included)) and three carriages / wagons as well. The train has a central LED light and also has realistic sounds as it travels around happily all by itself.

I also recommend reading the Amazon reviews before purchase - at least one includes a little video. There's a few things to be aware of, like that it's quite noisy, and someone suggests that you glue the track together if it's not on a totally flat surface.

Looks like a lot of fun for a tenner!
