Clas Ohlosn is a modern home and hardware store from Sweden founded in 1918. The company specialises in hardware, home, leisure, electrical and multimedia products. They offer products and services for the small everyday practical problems and currently have over 200 stores across UK & European countries such as Norway, Finland and Germany.
The company started out as a mail order business based in Sweden. They originally sold only manuals and technical literature, thus people who lived in rural areas were able to acquire literature that would otherwise be unavailable. Ohlson opened his first store in 1926 but it wasn’t until 1989 when the company launched a store in a shopping centre in central Stockholm in 1989 which began the expansion of Clas Ohlson into the retail business. Their first store outside of Sweden was opened in Norway in 1991 and in 2008 they opened their first UK retail store in Croydon, England.

They use the house brands of Asaklitt (luggage and travelware), Capere (bathroom supplies), Cocraft (DIY tools), Cotech (electrical tools), Coline (household electrical items), Exibel (household electrical items) and Northlight (lighting).
