Our daughter has had cold sores from being a tot of 18 month,as she got older she grew up on a monthly prescription of Aciclover tablets which then became a monthly bottle of Aciclover liquid right up to being sixteen,used to have six monthly check ups with a Consultant at the Hospital. When her cold sores were really bad,I she found it hard to sleep & eat normally so I would blend her food & encourage her to eat..

Luckily in her late teens things got better, she still had flare ups but not as bad & used to swear by her little Compeed patches...x

Samoflondon..She always took vitamins from being young & ate a variety of foods including meat,she ate proper meals from an early age which she loved,she couldn't eat anything greasy..

She's 23.5 years, well stocked up on Cold Sore Cream & ,Lip Balm,(swears by Burts Bees) at her Uni Accommodation & home

These patches are such a game changer. If you are quick they can prevent a complete breakout. Otherwise they reduce the healing from 2 weeks to only 4-5 days and prevent the virus from spreading.
