Done, thanks. I spoke with Kelsey about this yesterday - the code that looks for prices is unable to differentiate between a general sale page and an individual product page, and may try to pick up a price.
Similarly, if there are multiple prices on a page, including individual product pages, or if Amazon’s API returns an incorrect price to us, the Latest Deals system may get it wrong in that instance too.
We are looking at options, such as a correction timeframe in which posts could be corrected before the 5% rule comes into effect, and others.
However, unfortunately this doesn’t look to be a small bug that can be fixed in the immediate-term, so the best course of action is to give your deal posts a quick double check before pressing “save” to make sure the price field is correct. If missed, you can continue to tag someone in as well.
