Love this set and I think my grandson will also like it. Thank you for posting this deal. Will show his mum first.
Always worth checking Amazon Warehouse for 7.1 headphones as you often see them cheap on there. I bought these for £7.85 normally £45. They have some good reductions at times which seem a bit random in how they discount.

BonzoBanana both yours and this post are generic headphones that can be found on Aliexpress for £13/14/15.
jferris I think the tax loophole is changing in the new year so any headphones that cost around that from aliexpress will be hit with VAT and custom charges from Jan 1st. Also its important to point out that products sold from aliexpress are personal imports so can completely bypass any certification process where as products sold in the UK have to have passed EU certification. Some of these importers may import from the same factories but the components they are made from can be different, larger driver units, better cables etc.
I bought what looked like the same bicycle lights from a chinese seller on ebay as an auction win. They were only about 30p but the same as the poundland models this was a couple of years ago. The poundland ones had much better battery contacts that didn't rust but the one's from China rusted very quickly, the metal was lower quality and not rust resistant and that was just for cheap bicycle lights.
People buy carbon fibre bicycle frames from aliexpress and alibaba to save money but some of those frames have failed quickly sometimes even on first use others are fine. Again as a personal import there is no certification process.
Don't get me wrong I buy from aliexpress but you may sacrifice quality and safety to do so. I've bought a few things recently just to make sure I get them before January 1st.
I think in the future aliexpress will have prepaid VAT and so it will simply be 20% added automatically but before then you maybe hit with both VAT and custom charges so there could be a period where you pay a lot more for aliexpress products.
