A first for Deanston distillery, the Highland malt-maker has married their soft and honeyed malt with red wine casks. The result? A truly delicious combination!
This limited-edition release was distilled and filled into whisky re-fill casks in December 2002, before being transferred into Pinot Noir casks in June 2018. Bottled at 17 years old, this expression comes at a cask strength of 50% ABV and without chill-filtration or added colouring.
