That's not there closing down sale that's there christmas sale. They havent said anything about a closing down sale.

ninjahyper go click on the yellow banner and it takes you to the same page the big christmas sale. so wheres the section for the closing down section? And not the christmas sale?

Could you both please stop arguing on my post lol your both right. They are advertising as closing down sale but mostly still the same deals, found new discounts though of things that weren't discounted before so thats good. Thanks for your inputs. Cheers

They've added a closing down banner but there aren't any new deals. There the exact same one's that were available days before the announcement and instore isn't any better. I don't think we'll see any good deals till after Christmas or when there closer to actually closing which is March I believe. For now I think they'll try and make as much money as they can.
Do you think they will be opened to March? You never know with all these lockdowns now 
this years been absolutely crazy. I've seen some new things added and new discounts.
TaraAnneDunne I've definitely saw something about a march closing date, but can't remember where the high streets are going to be so empty 
. I've seen other mention they think brands will just take stuff back too so not necessarily all the stock is going to end up in a sale, but I have no idea. I went to our store the other day and its just the same 20% off here and there. I think there'll try and make as much as they can before Christmas though to clear debt. Not forgetting the poor staff and their pensions
Aww I know its terrible, I haven't managed to get in store recently as my wee town is in lockdown (ending on Friday 11th) but im hoping I find something good in there. Feel terrible for all the staff. Such a shame. Wonder if topshop etc will follow suit AJ13

They have some things that are from summer that I bought. I actually bough sunglasses as gifts haha They were so lovely tbh. I wont buy anything else though until after Xmas. Sad for those workers though.
Debenhams will be greatly missed . Iβm sure there will be some great bargains on there
The high street stores from U.K. are all dying, what a pity.
What's left, H&M, Primark, John Lewis, Selfridges, PC World, CeX, Clarks, Smyth's, Entertainer, Argos and more or less the rest all owned by Mike Ashley? Damn.
I know such as shame. I know these lockdowns help to save lives which im grateful for but the economy is dying. Surely it was all handled wrong 
No surprise they're closing sadly . Looked through a few of the prices and they are not remotely competitive even with 50% -70% off !
Guess it's only those foolish enough to have a Debenhams Store card (paying 35% APR) who shopped there .
Thats really sad, I told my mum that Debenhams will closing soon, so she went and purchased a make up set (in case other shop don't stock that brand/ product). She saved 35 pound, it was 70 pound before.
All the oohs and arrs and shame, !*they are closing because people stopped shopping in them

For those of you who feel sad that Debenham is closing - we must stop buying things online ... specifically from blood Amazon
Unless other shops are more competitive then Amazon it is, Iβve havenβt got the money to pay over the odds from somewhere else, otherwise I wouldnβt be on this website!

Online queueing is horrendous Iβm in isolation until the 10th I have tried loads of times keep getting booted off!
Ohhh definitely what a shame, love Debenhams I usually get all my beach wear.. will have a look when able to get online.
Some nice deals, in time for xmas. But it is bitter-sweet, with their job losses on top of the troubles we have all faced this year.
Only had a look at the electricals pages and a lot of the stuff is only 10% off. Not what I expected from a closing down sale.
