I bought a 1L bottle of Disaronno thinking it would last me a few months.The bottle lasted considerably less time than my optimism.
Disaronno is one of those dangerous drinks that tastes far too nice for its own good. The smooth almond flavour is so delicious that your brain immediately forgets it’s 28% alcohol and starts treating it like a fancy soft drink. This is a trap. Do not fall for it. I fell for it.
It’s fantastic on its own, brilliant over ice, and somehow manages to make almost any cocktail taste better. The flavour is rich, smooth, slightly sweet, and dangerously easy to drink.
The bottle itself looks classy enough to display proudly on a shelf, although in my case it spent most of its life being repeatedly moved closer to the sofa.
Excellent quality, fantastic flavour, and well worth every penny.
