What a steal for £45 at Foot Locker, the 204L is usually £75 everywhere else and Foot Locker rarely do 40% off on New Balance women's colours. This slate blue / vintage blue colour with the muted red N is such a nice change from the usual white.
The reason the 204L is so useful is that it's that perfect everyday hybrid - it's a retro running inspired trainer but the silhouette is sleek and low profile so you can literally wear it for everything. In my family, New Balance are the go-to for all day comfort, especially if you have slightly wider feet or need more arch support than Nike. The multi-piece upper with the mesh and suede is really breathable for summer but still supportive enough for long walks, travel, standing at work all day, gym, dog walking. Much more comfortable than a fashion trainer that kills your feet after an hour.
For £45 it's a no brainer as a spare pair or for gifting.
