Great deal .The latest 4th gen Echo dot at the best current discount price plus a free Amazon smart plug (worth £24. 99 ) . Appears to be available in all three colours White , Blue and Charcoal .
I like the Amazon smart plug as it connects straight to the echo (without messing around with yet another app ) , have seen it as low £17.41 but free is better !

Best I've seen for it with the Amazon plug too . You just plug the plug into a socket Alexa "finds " it and then you can switch it on and off with your voice .
For example name the plug "Christmas " plug your tree and /or lights into it . Say "Alexa turn Christmas on "- and all the lights come on .
Slmonks I got a selection of smart stuff (bulbs , plugs etc ) last year . All of them except the Amazon plug needed another app before they worked with Alexa . Ended up with a 4 extra apps on my phone ! When one broke I paid a bit more to replace it with the Amazon plug as it works directly with Alexa, no messing around with other apps - just plug and play .
Golfforall I best not shout Alexa too loud then.. wouldn’t want to switch all you gadgets on

Ihave the 4th Gen Dot, and the sound quality is great. Aesthetically an improvement also on the 3rd Gen. If you're tempted, go for it. This is a great price for both!
Humbug: I bought an Echo Dot on Black Friday; it arrived a week ago, and - although the sound quality is considerably better than the previous style - it doesn’t mean she understands me any more clearly! This, though, is an utter bargain! Grrrr...
