What is EE Mobile?


EE Mobile, formerly Everything Elsewhere is the largest mobile network operator in the UK, with more than 29 million customers as well as the largest operator of 4G services in Europe. The company was established in 2010 as a joint venture between Deutsche Telekom and Orange S.A. through the merger of their respective T-Mobile and Orange businesses in the country. Their 4G and 2G networks’ combined coverage reaches more than 99% of the UK population, with double speed 4G reaching 80% while their 3G network reaches 98% of the population.

In 2012, the company announced that EE brand would be used to identify its network on all of the company's devices (EE, Orange and T-Mobile), alongside its 4G service and the company's fibre optic broadband roll-out. They describe the brand as The Super Fast Brand.

They also re-branded all ex-Orange and ex-T-Mobile shops but that mobile products would continue to be sold under those brands inside the stores. By March of 2014, they started to phase out the Orange and T-Mobile brands in the UK, removing these products from their website and retail stores but plans for these brands are still available via telesales and through third-party retail channels.

What are the delivery options for EE Mobile?


All online orders, or orders placed on your behalf in a retail store for phones, tablets and mobile WiFi devices, are delivered FREE to your home or an EE store of your choice. As soon as your items are in stock, your order will usually be dispatched within 24 hours. Your delivery will be sent via the courier DPD, with the exception of SIM orders. If you’ve ordered a SIM only package, it will be delivered directly to you by second class mail.

If you’ve placed a pre-order or your device is out of stock, they will send you regular updates via email or text message to let you know when you’re likely to receive it. For some orders, they can only provide delivery dates as an estimate. They will let you know when they have a definite date via email or text message.

If you’ve chosen to have your order delivered to an EE store, DPD will send you a text letting you know when it has arrived and is ready for collection. Make sure to bring a copy of your order confirmation email when picking up your order as well as a valid debit or credit card with your name on it. They will do a chip and PIN check in store, by charging £1 to your card then refunding it straight back to you.

How do I return an item to EE Mobile?


You'll have 14 days from when you receive your mobile, dongle, tablet or other equipment to tell them that you've changed your mind. You can email them at channel.returns@ee.co.uk and you will be sent a returns form to fill in the relevant details and return. Once your form has been received and processed, their cancellations team will get in touch with you to advise you on how to return the equipment and next steps.

Once they have received both your cancellation request and they’ve received any equipment you need to return, they will refund you within 14 days, using the payment method you originally used.
