10 CD box set that offers a comprehensive Elvis Presley retrospective. Included are fifteen original LPs (see reviewer comment below) that the "the King of Rock and Roll" made between 1956 and 1960, as well as forty bonus tracks, which includes all ten of his rare Sun singles.

All his original albums released by RCA between 1956 and 1960 are in this box including his debut studio album 'Elvis Presley', three soundtracks of his best films - 'Loving You', 'King Creole' and 'GI Blues', his 'Christmas Album' and other classic albums such as 'Elvis', 'Elvis Is Back!' and the gospel album 'His Hand in Mine'.

First things first, the album title is misleading, it is not 15 original albums. It is 10 original albums, each on 1 CD with bonus tracks on each CD which include sun singles, single releases, eps etc. In total over 160 tracks. Each CD comes in a printed cardboard CD sleeve with the same picture on Elvis on each. Track listings on the back the 10 CDs. One in a small cardboard CD box. There are no liner notes. The packaging is basic but neat. The music I don’t think is mastered from original sources. For that you probably have to buy albums released on the RCA label and pay a much higher price. The sound quality is good to very good though. The music itself is a wide range of music blues, country, gospel, Christmas, rock n roll which Elvis makes his own with his unique style. Listening to this collection, the variety of his music is stunning as is his quality. It would be good to have some liner notes and more attractive packaging but for 10 CDs and over 160 tracks at such a low price, it is very very good value for money. This is a set that enables you to hear less heard Elvis tracks and many are gems. It is a set that would make a nice little gift for a fan. It is a set that if you have no Elvis, would be a great place to start your collection as it includes so many of his original sun hits. Highly recommended,
