As said in description I used this a few years ago to fix a severely leaking waste pipe on a toilet. Saved me a small fortune. It will keep for years even after opening.
This video (not mine) might be of help to anyone wanting to fix a leak in a toilet waste pipe (a very common occurence) it certainly helped me a few years ago,
Great video ive done the replace of the rubber doughnut like he says in it! But great to have this plumbers mate in
Very good price and a product that you should have in kitchen cupboard. Thanks for sharing this deal
I’ve done all my own toilet repairs, fitted a new pump in it had to take the whole thing apart as seal had gone too was original toilet from when houses built so lasted well lol, so may get some of this just incase as you never know!! ladies never be frightened of doing your own DIY saves you a fortune and plenty of videos on you tube to help you!!
Quite right, even if I know how to do a job, I will often check YouTube out before starting. I always read the comments too, someone else might have added a useful suggestion. I always say thanks to those who've helped too.
Only thing is you need to buy two which I don’t think I’ll need in the month of Sunday’s what a shame!!
Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't noticed the minimum purchase as I hadn't attempted to purchase myself, I'd plenty left over from a few years ago. I did after I last purchased from Wickes find a part used tub from over 25 years previously it was still usable - although the actual tub was cracking up.
I have edited the description to show at least two need to be purchased, Thanks again.
(I do believe that a single tub will last a professional plumber, and most use it, several years).
davidstockport that’s ok I didn’t know either till I was about to buy and price was double then noticed it, but if I knew someone I’d share but don’t know anyone I’d of bought one tho as a back up thank you for posting tho
