I am not really a vaper I only use it in the car but I was told the other day to stock up on vape liquids as come October the government are going to be taxing vape liquids. So all serious papers stock up now.
Here is the information I found..
A new tax called the Vaping Products Duty (VPD) will be introduced in the UK.
The new flat-rate excise tax adds a duty of £2.20 per 10ml (plus VAT) to all e-liquids.
The tax takes effect on 1 October 2026. Un-taxed stock manufactured before this date can be legally sold during a 6-month grace period, but from 1 April 2027, all e-liquid sold must be taxed.
The tax applies to all vaping liquids regardless of nicotine strength. This includes freebase liquids, nic salts, pre-filled pods, shortfills, and nicotine-free e-liquids.
The tax does not apply to vape hardware (devices, empty pods, or coils).
All affected products will carry a mandatory physical duty stamp to prove the tax has been paid.
Typical our government taxing these liquids i quit smoking 8yrs ago,due to health reasons but also the costs of them were ridiculous.I do vape so thanks for the heads up on the oils il stock up while I can
