BlueEyesX Is this test suitable for travelling abroad?
The At-home COVID-19 PCR Sample Collection Kit is ideal for international travel, where a Fit to Fly certificate is required.
You must check with your travel provider exactly what your requirements are before ordering, as requirements and timings can vary greatly from country to country.
The testing and entry requirements for countries are regularly changing, so it’s important to be aware of the specific requirements for the country you are travelling to before booking a test. This information is available at: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice. This is description on boots
I just want to say i think this deal is very unappealing under the circumstances. FREE NHS HOME TESTING kits are available to everyone with a result in 1 minute. You get 7 tests in one box and its exactly the same test you will take at airports. NHS UK will text and email you the results within minutes of getting the test. Its totally free as long as you are a British citizen and i just think its inappropriate that the likes of boots are making money from Covid-19 tests that are free to do at home.
stuart the NHS ones are Rapid Antigen tests which is different from a fit to fly test, they are tested in different ways, with a fit to fly it's required by a number of airlines where you have to produce a certificate thats issued.

BillyCulver the government confirmed today antigen trsts will be accepted if logged with the NHS which is easy to do.
stuart each airline and country require different proof. I'm flying to Barcelona for work and I'm required to have a fit to fly
stuart my husband has had to fly regularly for essential work during the last year. Many countries and airlines WILL NOT accept NHS Covid tests. He learned the hard way after being refused to board a flight!
BillyCulver The advice has changed and you are correct.
NHS tests cannot be used for the purpose of pre-departure testing before travel out of England.
You cannot take an NHS test abroad with you to use on yourself before you return.
However it says within the UK some travel operators require a negative rapid antigen test with proof in text message or email before you travel.
I suppose it will keep changing so i would advise check before you travel.
So we are both sorta correct and that information is on.gov.

BillyCulver I’m asking the person as they put free of charge hence me asking if they are the fit to fly tests as I’ve not seen any fit to fly tests free
