I'll give it a go but I'm always a bit concerned when it comes to "free for a year " like ,how long you have to have a contract for

It's a novel business idea. They've been around for about 8 years I believe and did have their own streaming service but that is not what this is.

As I understand it, they just pull all the streaming services into a single interface so you have one place to watch everything on Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney Plus and the rest, if you are subscribed to multiple services. It is great if you get a discount on those services by going through this one because you would offset the £1.99 a month. If not, you are paying that money just for added convenience.

Youview already offers an interface that does this though. I can watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, Now TV and all the free services like iPlayer through my Youview box which also acts as a recorder and tuner for live terrestrial TV too. I own that box so there is no £1.99 fee for the convenience.

So it basically puts all streaming platforms in one place. Does it actually provide anything if you do not subscribe to any?
