It says I'll be billed on the 1st of the month... Does that mean 9.99?!

Nice one, thanks for sharing! I really don't need any more t-shirts, but for 1p it's hard to resist 😆

Image Deal is £1 delivery, not 1p. Have been charged £1 from who I think is them, iZ Leaf Gifts Ltd, can anyone else confirm?

Yeah i have also been charged £1 (Even though "Free mystery tee just 1p P&P (no catch)" from them, More worrying is it can apparently take 48 hours to cancel a subscription(Even though it says cancel anytime). Does that mean if you do it today then there is a risk of being charged another £9.99 + £1.99 on top of that too as it will be a new month..

DavidMille16687 very smart business technique! Until I speak to AMEX the now and tell them to cancel any further charges from this company ;)

celticfantv88 Also very illegal business technique too if that's what there doing. I'll be happy to take this to a small claims court if that's what happens, Because there 1p (No Catch) tee shirt actually costs £13.

Not only is it very misleading, It's also a really bad business idea if they have genuinely done this and charge everyone a full price subscription.

It's going to cost them a lot more if they have done this as a clever trick....

DavidMille16687 it’s not illegal. Because they do say that it’s a subscription service & they say in the terms and conditions, that they charge the full amount on the 1st of every month. The first t shirt doesn’t cost you £13. It’s the 2nd one that does.

It‘s all about marketing techniques. I’ve seen it loads if times with subscription services.

It will cost more than the £13 to even start the claim with a small claims court.

Companys like that, are crafy. I stay away from them now.

LeanneWard 100% this would be a win in a small claims court, I've used small claims court previously and won for a lot less with significant payouts.

Title should read "Free T-Shirt (Worth £9.99) - Just 1p Delivery!, £0.01 at Monthlyteeclub + Another £1 Delivery + £9.99 + £1.99 because it takes 48 hours to cancel which just so happens to bring you into a new payable month"

You can't advertise a 1p no catch tshirt if it actually going to cost you £13+, This of course might not even be the case and the 1p teeshirt is the December month and the £1 postage is a mistake.

DavidMille16687 There is no catch its 1p for the t-shirt, you just need to cancel, you have until the 1st Jan 2020 to cancel your subscription before it renews. I think they had a tech issue on their website. Its since changed to 0p shipping.

RickHope The £9.99 + £1.99 gets activated the same time as your free one which is why people are wondering if there also going to be charged for that too or if the free tee counts as the Dec one.

Hey everyone, we have spoken to the brand and this was a technical error that has now been fixed. Thank you for your feedback. If you were incorrectly charged £1 instead of £0.01p please contact their support team and their customer service will be happy to help.

To clarify, this was a accidental mistake by the company that affected a few select accounts. The company apologises for the mistake and asks you to contact them on customer support to resolve any issues.

RickHope, it actually says 9.99 charge on 1st of month, charge will be taken before you receive this shirt, so will be taken 1st of December.

celticfantv88 "All subscriptions will renew automatically at the next cutoff date (10 days before next dispatch date."

So might be a chance your going to be charged for a full price Tee shirt and delivery on top of the so called Free one.

I hope i'm wrong and they've not done this.

DavidMille16687 E-Mailed them and stated the following also advised my AMEX to not allow them to process any further payments.

Hi,

I would like to cancel my subscription.

Take this as formal notification that I do not want to be charged on Monday the 1st of December for £9.99 plus £1.99 delivery charge.

I would hope your 1p (No Catch) Tee Shirt Actually Costs £13.00

If someone could get back to me as soon as possible.

Kind regards,

DavidMille16687 The first payment is on the 1st Dec of 1p, then you have a full month to cancel or your subscription will auto-renew.

celticfantv88 You‘ve put... would hope that there tee actually costs £13. Instead of you hope it doesn’t.

Try and email them again, because they may take that the wrong way. X
