Each of its 70 guestrooms has been given the design treatment, with chic grey walls and lots of natural wood to give the space an eco-luxe feel. Standard Double rooms start at a decidedly spacious 26 square metres, so you’ll never feel pushed for space, and you have a choice of garden or sea views. Opt for a Superior Double room and you get a shared swim-up pool.

In true all-inclusive style you certainly won’t go hungry at Harmony Crest Resort & Spa. Start the day with a decadent buffet spread in the main restaurant, enjoy snacks at the pool bar until lunch and then head to the garden terrace for Mediterranean flavours and Greek or international cuisine. Afternoon tea is served back at the pool bar, while dinner is a more elaborate affair with show cooking – vegetarian options and substitutions for those on special diets can be catered for at all meals. Included in your all-inclusive board is one dinner at the Italian a la carte restaurant, where you can enjoy lip-smacking pasta and fresh salads. Make sure you try the local firewater – raki – for a true taste of Greece, or refresh with an iced coffee, the country’s favourite drink.
