Thanks for sharing, this could be ok for the odd movie night, but personally I'd increase your budget if possible

I've recently been looking at projectors, so anyone who is looking please be careful for those that claim '1080P Full HD Supported'... All that means is that HD quality video can be fed IN to the projector, but what it actually can project OUT depends on its NATIVE resolution. (Imagine perfect quality audio being played through a cheap speaker... Basically that with video)

This one is 320 x 240 (around '240p') which is much lower than 1080p

Cheap Native 1080p projectors appear to start around £150-£230 on Amazon (sometimes a bit less on lightning deals), but obviously higher quality ones are much more expensive.

Even 720p native should be a big step up from this 240p one, and there's plenty of those on Amazon for under 100 (though I've not tested them so am not endorsing or have any idea if they're good... I'd suggest checking YouTube for reviews)

If you're not sure what this practically means, load a YouTube video, go into options and change the resolution to 240p. Imagine that getting stretched out, it'll look much worse than on your phone. Your TV is perhaps not as cool but probably a better solution

Of course might suit some and not criticising the person who shared the deal - is a cheap projector for a cheap price, but the product description text saying 'can show crystal clear images at up to 1080p resolution' when it's a 240p native resolution made me want to share the above so people know what they're actually buying
