The smart band can automatically recognize swim strokes, record swimming speed, distance, calories and track SWOLF score to help swimmers improve their techniques.

When paired with a smartphone, the HONOR Band 5 fitness watch alerts users of notifications, including incoming call showing caller ID, SMS, email, weather reports, calendar and social apps. It also features smart alarms and event alarms, stop watch and timer. A remote-control function allows users to capture photos from both the rear and front cameras of the phone in a single click (only available on Huawei devices running EMUI 8.1 or later). When Bluetooth is activated, users are even able to locate the paired phone via the Find phone function. Its music control function allows users to control the music via band.
