Strange , the RRP of this model is £40 (check HP store ) where do Very get £49.99 from ?
Best not to buy a printer at the moment - all the cheaper models seem to be sold out at the popular retailers (Amazon , Argos , Currys etc ) I presume due to lock down and the increase in Home working .
When stocks are at normal levels these can be picked up for around £26 -£30 , so if you can wait - do and save yourself at least £10 .
Very will get the RRP from the manufacturer (HP) who set it. It's the same RRP at Amazon - £49.99.
If you check the HP Store you'll see:
a) whilst HP state their price is £40, they don't say £40 is the RRP
b) it is out of stock at the HP Store
You're right about printers being cheaper before lockdown though. Printer Ink is also hard to find in stock for the most popular models.
